The Digitizing European Industry initiative aims to reinforce EU’s competitiveness in digital technologies and to ensure that every business in Europe whichever the sector, wherever located, whatever the size can fully benefit from digital innovation. In this context, Digital Innovation Hub is a place where companies especially SMEs, startups and mid-caps can get help to improve their business, production processes, products and services by means of digital innovations.

The 2021-2027 regional programme provides a 7-year response to the challenges facing the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and its inhabitants, in line with the European Commission’s strategic objectives.

Its areas of intervention will enable the priorities set by the Region to be met, particularly in terms of innovation, support for SMEs, positive ecology, rural development and vocational training. It will also support initiatives in new areas such as health and tourism.

The programme mobilises the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the Just Transition Fund (FTJ) and is structured around 10 priorities specifying how these European funds are to be used:

  1. Research, innovation, digital technology, competitiveness and reindustrialisation
  2. Energy transition and environment
  3. Digital connectivity
  4. Health and tourism
  5. Territorial approaches
  6. Urban mobility
  7. Massif central
  8. Rhône Saône
  9. Training, employment, creation, guidance, health
  10. Just transition
