OBJECTIVES

•To exchange and transfer ideas, views and knowledge among the partners from both EU and Asia.
•To set-up new long-term sustainable partnerships and to reinforce existing partnerships.
•To promote the EU higher education system.
•To improve education, research and teaching activities in Information Engineering System Technology in participating institutes in EU and Asia.

RESULTS

• To train 200 academic staff through workshops and summer schools.
•To provide 20 training courses in Asia partner sites.
•To conduct 30 exchange visits.
•To organise six workshops at the Asia partner’s sites.
•To develop one new Master course in intelligent information systems.
•To research on current issues of Information System Engineering Technology (e.g. intelligent systems, supply chain management, web technologies, etc) and disseminate the research outcomes through publications.
