OBJECTIVES
The vf-OS project aims to propose an open operating system for virtual factories. It offers a complete set of features covering system kernel, I/O capabilities, development KIT and interoperability capabilities. An Agile exploitation approach is proposed to support three industrial use cases.
As IT and research institution, Lyon 2 participates in the development of integration and interfacing capabilities as well as the support of a collaborative use-case between Metal and Plastic industries.
